Integration of social network plug-ins
Our web site uses buttons for each of the social networks
- Instagram facebook, Facebook Inc. , 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA
- Twitter, Twitter Inc, 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA

Only when you click on the buttons and thus declare your consent to communication with the servers of the social network, the buttons become active and the connection is established.
After clicking, the button corresponds to a so-called share plugin. The social network is provided with information about the visited page, which you can share with your contacts in your social network. If you want to "Share" the information, you must be logged in. If you are not logged in, you will land on the login page of the social network you clicked on and you will no longer be on the pages of tuev-hessen.de. If you are logged in, the information is transmitted that you want to recommend the respective article.
By activating the button, the social networks then also receive, among other things, the information that and when you accessed the corresponding page of our website, as well as, for example, your IP address, information on the browser used and the language settings. When you click the button, your click is transmitted to the social network and used according to its data usage guidelines.
When activating the button, we have no influence on the collected data and data processing operations and are not responsible for this data processing and in this respect also not responsible in the sense of the GDPR. We are also not aware of the full extent of the data collection, its legal basis, the purposes as well as the storage periods. Therefore, the information provided here is not necessarily complete.
The transmission of the data takes place regardless of whether you actually have an account with the provider or are logged in there. If you are logged in to the provider, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If applicable, the providers also use cookies on your computer to track you.
To our knowledge, the provider stores this data in usage profiles, which it uses for purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for non-logged-in users) for the display of needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. To exercise this right of objection, please contact the respective provider.

Instagram uses the remarketing function "Facebook Pixel", a service of Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. This function is used to present interest-based advertisements ("Facebook Ads") to visitors of the website. For this purpose, Facebook's remarketing tag has been implemented on this website. Via this tag, a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established when visiting the website. This transmits to the Facebook server that you have visited this website and Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. https://www.facebook.com/business/help/742478679120153?helpref=search&sr=3&query=pixel
Google Ads Conversions
We use the offer of Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Ads) on external websites. We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. In this way, we pursue the interest of displaying advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.
These advertisements are delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.
These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website of an Ads customer and the cookie stored on his computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Ads customers' websites. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising media; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is the possibility that the provider learns your IP address and stores it.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular suppressing third-party cookies will result in you not receiving ads from third-party providers; b) by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com", www.google.de/settings/ads, deleting this setting when you delete your cookies; c) by disabling the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulatory campaign "About Ads" via the link www.aboutads.info/choices, deleting this setting when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently disabling them in your Firefox, Internetexplorer or Google Chrome browsers at the link www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.1
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and services.google.com/sitestats/en.html. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at www.networkadvertising.org. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
Remarketing
In addition to Ads Conversion, we use the Google Remarketing application. This is a procedure with which we would like to address you again. Through this application, our advertisements can be displayed to you during your further internet use after visiting our website. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which Google uses to record and evaluate your usage behavior when you visit various websites. In this way, Google can determine your previous visit to our website. According to its own statements, Google does not combine the data collected in the course of remarketing with your personal data, which may be stored by Google. In particular, according to Google, pseudonymization is used in remarketing.
DoubleClick by Google
This website continues to use the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Via a cookie ID, Google records which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later calls up the advertiser's website with the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is the possibility that the provider learns your IP address and stores it.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular suppressing third-party cookies will result in you not receiving ads from third-party providers; b) by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com", www.google.de/settings/ads, in which case this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by disabling the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulatory campaign "About Ads" via the link www.aboutads.info/choices, in which case this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently disabling them in your Firefox, Internetexplorer or Google Chrome browsers at the link www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.1
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. For more information on DoubleClick by Google, please visit www.google.de/doubleclick and support.google.com/adsense/answer/2839090, as well as on data protection at Google in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Use of Bing Ads, Bing Ads Conversion Tracking and Bing Ads Remarketing
Our website also uses conversion tracking from Microsoft Corporation, (One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). Microsoft Bing Ads sets a cookie on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Microsoft Bing ad. In this way, Microsoft Bing and we can recognize that someone has clicked on an ad, been redirected to our website and reached a previously determined target page (conversion page). We only learn the total number of users who clicked on a Bing ad and were then redirected to the conversion page. No personal information about the user's identity is disclosed. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, via a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. Further information on data protection and the cookies used by Microsoft Bing can be found on the Microsoft website.
Bing Ads Remarketing
We also use the "Bing Ads Remarketing" application. Through this application, we can show you our advertisements when you continue to use the internet after visiting our website. In this way, we want to show you advertising that is of interest to you. This is done via a cookie stored in your browser (see above), via which your usage behavior is recorded and evaluated. No personal information is disclosed to us about individual website visitors and website customer target groups can only be targeted by us in advertisements if the customer target group has reached a critical size in terms of numbers. This makes it impossible for us to determine individual visitor identities.
You can deactivate tracking in various ways. For example, you can prevent the storage of cookies in your browser settings, whereby our online offer may then only function in a restricted manner for you. In addition, you can deactivate the interest-based ads of providers that are part of the self-regulatory campaigns "YourAdChoices" (optout.aboutads.info) or, for example, the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies. Disabling interest-based ads is also possible at advertise.bingads.microsoft.com/en-us/resources/policies/personalized-ads.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). The use includes the operating mode "Universal Analytics". This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus analyze the activities of a user across devices. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 26 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
You can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when visiting our pages:
Deactivate Google Analytics
To prevent collection by Universal Analytics across devices, you must opt-out on all systems used.
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, which means that personal references can be ruled out. Insofar as the data collected about you has a personal reference, this is therefore immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted immediately.
We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

Google Signals
Also based on our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO), we use the web analytics service Google Signals. Google provides website operators with Signals reports on cross-device user numbers as well as on different groups of users based on different device combinations used. Google uses what is known as "cross-device tracking" for this purpose. This means that website visits by a single visitor with different devices can be assigned to this one visitor, provided that the visitor has logged into a Google service during the sessions and at the same time has activated the "personalized advertising" option in his Google account settings. Google Signals is only used with IP pseudonymization activated. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the EU or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. Thus, no conclusions can be drawn about the identity of an individual user.
The collection by Google Signals can be objected to at any time by the site visitor deactivating "personalized advertising" in his Google account under the following link: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de
Additional information about how Google handles your personal information in its advertising network can be found here: Advertising and Privacy
Facebook tracking pixel
We use Facebook Pixel for the purpose of analysis, optimization and economic operation of our website. With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine the visitors to our website as a target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion").
Objection/Deactivation:
You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and use of your data to display Facebook ads. The settings for Facebook ads can be edited here: https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/
Further explanations can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/help/568137493302217
Webtrekk
Visits to our website are analyzed pseudonymously for marketing and optimization purposes by the technology of Webtrekk GmbH ("Webtrekk"). Webtrekk is a company based in Germany, Robert-Koch-Platz 4, 10115 Berlin, which collects, stores and analyzes usage data. It has been certified for data protection in the area of web controlling in Germany, after its data processing was checked for data protection conformity and data security. Each time you access our website, some information transmitted by your browser is collected and analyzed. The collection is done by a pixel, which is embedded on every page, or/and via a Java script as well as cookies. The following information is collected and processed:
- Name of the retrieved file, timestamp
- Operating system used
- Device identifier
- Information about the browser used by the user
- Screen/browser resolution and color depth
- Browser language
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- IP address
- Clicks
- Java on/off
- Cookie on/off
- Plugins.
Webtrekk shortens the IP address immediately after receipt and uses it on our behalf only for session recognition, for geolocation (down to city level) and for defense against cyber attacks. The shortened IP address is then immediately deleted again, so that the collected data is then anonymous.
When using Webtrekk, the following cookies are set, which have a shelf life as indicated:
- Session cookie (for session detection, lifetime: one session, i.e. until the browser is closed).
- Long-term cookie (for pseudonymized recognition of returning visitors: 6 months)
- Opt-out cookie (if you object to tracking: 12 months)
The legal basis for the use of Webtrekk is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
Further information on data protection at Webtrekk can be found at www.webtrekk.com/de/legal/opt-out-webtrekk.
In order to deactivate Webtrekk and object to the collection of usage data, a cookie ("webTrekkOptOut" called) must be set. By clicking on the following link, you can object to the collection of data by Webtrekk:
This objection is valid as long as you do not delete the cookie, but for a maximum of 12 months. The cookie is set for our website, per browser and end device. Therefore, if you visit our website from different end devices or with different browsers, you must set the cookie separately for each end device and browser.
Shariff bookmarking
Our websites also contain Shariff plug-ins. These plug-ins allow you to set bookmarks or share interesting content with other users. Through the plug-ins, we offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
Via these plug-ins, your internet browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of Shariff and, if applicable, the selected social network or bookmarking service. The recipients receive the information that you have called up the corresponding website of our online offer and the data automatically collected when you visit the website (see above). This information is processed on Shariff's servers in the USA. If you send content on our website to social networks or bookmarking services, a connection may be established between your visit to our website and your user profile with the corresponding network. We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information about the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider.
The plug-in provider stores this data as usage profiles and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right.
If you do not wish to participate in this procedure, you can object to the data collection and storage at any time by setting an opt-out cookie with effect for the future: help.github.com/articles/opting-into-or-out-of-data-use-for-your-private-repository/. Alternatively, you can set your browser to prevent the setting of a cookie.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, as well as further information on your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please contact: GitHub, Inc. 88 Colin P. Kelly Junior Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, https://help.github.com/articles/github-privacy-policy/.
A/B testing
(1) This website continues to perform analyses of user behavior via so-called A/B testing. In doing so, we can show you our websites with slightly varied content, depending on a profile assignment that has been made. This allows us to analyze our offer, improve it regularly and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for A/B testing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
Cookies (see above) are stored on your computer for this evaluation. You can prevent the evaluation by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of cookies, we point out that you may not be able to use our website in full. Preventing the storage of cookies is possible through the setting in your browser. Preventing the use of A/B testing is also possible by clicking the following link: http://www.abtasty.com/#abtastyoptout=1. The cookie activated in this way will cause AB Tasty to stop running. The objection is stored in a special cookie and is valid as long as the cookie is not deleted.
