- Get insights about latest developments: Learn about advances in battery, hybrid, and conventional drivetrain solutions.
At the 10th International Conference “Drivetrain Solutions for Commercial Vehicles” on June 30th and July 1st leading players in the commercial vehicle sector will provide an overview of the latest developments in battery-electric, CO₂-neutral, hybrid and conventional drivetrain solutions. The conference will address aspects across the entire commercial vehicle lifecycle, with a particular focus on complete powertrain systems and transmissions.
Multiple solutions for the drive train of commercial vehicles
In light of CO2 regulations getting more and more stringent, commercial vehicle manufacturers are faced with the development of alternatives to replace the conventional powertrain. Although a battery-powered solution is particularly attractive for city traffic, it does not seem to be doable for heavy commercial traffic due to capacity and weight-saving reasons – at least in the medium term. Therefore hybrid concepts and synthetic fuels are of crucial interest.

- Drivetrain design and development
- Vehicle development
- Strategic planning
- Research and testing
- Development and design engineering
- Product management
- Energy management
It addresses experts working with commercial vehicles, mechanical, hydraulic and electric/electrified drives, as well as their control and regulation systems. Suppliers, manufacturers and professionals from the field of component supply are also invited to participate.
Exhibitors
What else can you expect at the VDI conference?
One ticket, two conferences - you can encounter new ideas and stimuli not only at the lectures of the ‘Drivetrain Solutions for Commercial Vehicles‘ conference, you can also switch free of charge between the parallel series of lectures at the congress ‘Dritev’. This offers a great opportunity to meet a lot of like-minded people, talk shop with the experts and exchange new ideas.
The joint evening event offers all participants an excellent option of networking with experts from Germany and abroad. Take advantage of this opportunity to exchange ideas face-to-face with your drive and transmission community and take away new ideas.
The Speakers Corner will give you the possibility to meet once again with the inspiring speakers of the conference. After the presentations, you will have the chance to talk to the speakers in person and ask specific questions.
In the exhibition area, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the leading companies in the development, simulation, and production of drives, gearboxes, and components.
A poster exhibition allows attendees to discover a wider range of topics, gain a compact overview of current developments, engage directly with experts, and benefit from valuable inspiration.
