Call for Papers is now open - Submit your abstract by April 7, 2023
In November 2023 the 14th VDI Conference on Vehicle Safety will be held in Berlin. For three decades this has been one of the most important specialist conferences and information platforms for experts in the field of passive and integral safety.
Once again this year, our discussions will focus on new aspects and challenges related to the safety of road users and new ideas and possible solutions will be exchanged, especially in connection with future mobility requirements.
The VDI and the program committee of the conference would like to offer in a proven form a wide range of lectures on current topics and trends in active, passive and integral safety. The main topics should also take into account the mobility of tomorrow, such as safety aspects in the case of small vehicles as well as automated and networked driving and the protection of vulnerable road users. Diversity aspects and issues related to safety potentials through occupant classification and driver condition recognition are also to be examined in the lectures.
With the road safety program of the federal government and „Vision Zero“ of the EU, long-term goals have been formulated which mean very challenging requirements for safe mobility in the future. However, against the background of the federal government‘s amended Climate Protection Act and the goal of greenhouse gas neutrality by 2045, this also means new challenges for the automotive industry with regard to sustainability, carbon footprint and climate neutrality, which must also be taken into account in a future vehicle safety architecture.
Vehicle safety in the context of new, sustainable mobility concepts
The focus of this year‘s conference will therefore be on the topic „Vehicle safety in the context of new, sustainable mobility concepts“.
We look forward to your presentation submissions for all topics in active, passive and integral security.
Enrich the symposium with your competence.
